Painting in this century has got a scope of many different forms to express the sentiments of an artist. There is a huge leap from what was available during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.

Most of these innovations have become possible due to many technological advances, e.g. the metallic paint tube, the photography evolution, and also changes in politics, philosophy, and various social conventions.

So far 2 dominant styles were at the forefront i.e. the Western style and the other is Eastern art style. If we dive deeper intodifferent painting styles then it will really be a quite fascinating study and that can give us a deep insight into the various expressions of art displayed by Lana Zuevala painter and many other painters of the world.

We will discuss briefly in this post a few different painting styles that we can find these days and then try to find what the Lana Zueva Style is.

  1. Realism

Many people consider realism to be true art since the subject of your painting seems like the real object rather than being stylised or abstracted. What looks to be solid colours are actually a sequence of brushstrokes of various colours and intensities when studied closely.

  1. Impressionism

During the late nineteenth century, this form of art originated in Paris. There were a few features of impressionism that haveincluded the application of ordinary and common objects, in the thin brush strokes, at unusual angles.

  1. Modernism

Whatever art produced between the years 1860 and 1970 can be categorised as a modernism style of art. No boundaries are available here as were set by the old traditional way by holding back their creative expression.

  1. Abstract art

Any expression of reality, which is illustrated artistically, but not in the real form can be treated as an abstract art form. It may be considered as the actual product of any radical thought.

  1. Expressionism

The abstract art style takes various forms, one of which is ‘expressionism.’ Thepoint of view of the artist depicts the outpouring of human emotions.

  1. Surrealism

This was a certain movement that arose in France throughout the twentieth century. By juxtaposing irrational imagery, this art form aimed to liberate the mind’s creative potential.

  1. Abstraction

Painting became less realistic as the first ten years of the twentieth century extended in Europe and also America. This is all about painting the basic core of a subject, rather than the observable features, as an artist interprets it.

  1. Photorealism

In the late sixties and early seventies, Photorealism arose as a reaction to certain Abstract Expressionism that had dominated the field of art since the year 1940s. Often this style appears more real thanactual reality, with no detail overlooked and no flaw overlooked.

  1. Cubism

Everything in nature is shaped like a cylinder, a sphere, or a cone. Surprisingly, this later became the foundation for ‘cubism,’ another form of abstract painting.

These days there many of Lana’s artworks for sale are available online. Most of her art is an oil painting, which is her favourite medium of expression.
